About these terms
Melwa Learning is provided by Melwire Rolling (Pvt) Ltd ("the company") for its employees and other people it has authorised. By signing in you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Your account
- Your account is personal. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account
- You are responsible for what is done with your account
- Tell HR immediately if you think someone else knows your password
- Sign out when you use a shared computer or phone
Honest learning
Your learning record is used for training compliance and for promotion and increment reviews, so it must be your own work.
- Complete lessons and quizzes yourself, without help from another person or any tool, including artificial intelligence tools
- Do not copy, photograph, record or share quiz questions or answers
- Do not try to bypass lessons, time checks or quiz limits
Quiz activity is monitored. Breaking these rules may be treated as misconduct under the company's disciplinary procedure, and the result concerned may be cancelled.
Acceptable use
- Use the platform only for its purpose: learning and training
- Do not attempt to access other people's accounts or information
- Do not upload or send anything unlawful, offensive or harmful
- Do not attempt to damage, overload or interfere with the platform
Course content and copyright
All courses, text, videos, quizzes, certificates and the platform itself are the property of Melwire Rolling (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright. They are provided for your own training at work. You may not copy, publish, sell or share them outside the company without written permission. The MELWA name and logo are trademarks of their owner and are used with permission.
Certificates
Certificates confirm that you completed a course on this platform. They are internal records of the company and are not external professional qualifications unless the certificate says so.
Accuracy of content
Course content is general training material. Where a course differs from an official company procedure or from the law, the official procedure or the law applies. Always follow the instructions of your supervisor and the safety rules of your site.
Availability
The company aims to keep the platform available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable during maintenance.
Monitoring
Use of the platform is recorded as described in the Privacy Policy, including sign-ins, time spent and quiz activity.
Ending access
Your access ends when you leave the company or when the company withdraws it. The company may suspend an account that is misused.
Changes
The company may update the platform and these terms. Important changes will be announced through the platform. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. For any question about them, contact the Human Resources Department of Melwire Rolling (Pvt) Ltd.
